Fox Parade is a shared camera for weddings and weekends, made in Charleston, SC. It comes in two forms: the web camera (join in your browser, no download) and the Fox Parade iOS app. The short version: your photos stay in the darkroom until the reveal, films are private to the people in them, we don't run ads, and we don't sell anything about you. The longer version follows, and it covers both the website and the app.
From hosts: the film's name, event date, reveal time, and the settings you choose (shots per guest, guest capacity, who can see the film). From guests on the web: the name you type when you join (a first name is plenty) and the photos you shoot — no account, no password, no phone number. Your browser holds a private access token so the film remembers you. In the iOS app: an account is how your films follow you — we store the email you sign up with (or the private relay address if you use Sign in with Apple), your display name, and, only if you add them, an Instagram handle or website on your profile.
Photos and captions: the shots you take in a film, the moment they were taken, and — only if you turn it on — the city (never the exact location; we don't collect precise GPS). Purchases: paid films in the app are bought through Apple. Apple processes the payment; we receive a signed transaction record so your film's capacity is honored — never your card number. Notifications: if you opt in, we store a device token so we can tell you when your film develops. Automatically: routine server logs (like IP addresses and timestamps) for security and debugging, and simple first-party usage events (like "a film was created") to understand what's working. No third-party ad or analytics trackers, on either surface.
Photos are private by default and stored in a locked bucket — there are no public links to browse. Until the reveal moment, photos stay in the darkroom: guests can't see anyone's shots (not even their own, once uploaded), and only the film's host can see the roll. When the film develops, what happens next is the host's choice, made when the film is created: either everyone who joined sees the whole gallery, or each guest only ever sees their own shots while the host sees everything. Either way, no one outside the invited group can access the film. Photos are served through short-lived signed links that expire and refresh, so a leaked image URL goes stale instead of living forever. And treat the film's link like a guest list: anyone with the link or code can join while the film is open.
Every photo and comment in the app can be reported, and we review reports within 24 hours. You can block a person — their photos and comments disappear from your view everywhere, and they aren't told. You can leave any film you've joined. Hosts can remove any photo from their film, and we can remove content or accounts that break the rules in our Terms.
We don't sell or rent your photos or information. We don't run ads or ad trackers, and we don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't scan your photos with facial recognition or use them to train AI models. We don't post anything anywhere on your behalf. And we don't use your event's photos for marketing without asking the host first, in writing.
Fox Parade runs on trusted infrastructure providers: Vercel (serving the website), Supabase (database and photo storage, hosted in the United States), and Apple (payments and push notifications for the iOS app). They process data on our behalf to make the product work — nothing more.
Films don't expire. We keep your galleries so the memories stay available long after the event — that's a promise, not a limitation. Deleting is always yours to do: hosts can delete a film (photos, guest list, everything) right in the product; guests can delete their own photos; and app accounts can be deleted in Settings, which removes your films, photos, and profile everywhere — a full cascade, no email required. You can also just ask: write to adriancuriel22@gmail.com with your film code and we'll handle it promptly. If you appear in someone else's photo from a private event and want it gone, contact the host or us. Routine server logs are kept for about 90 days.
Fox Parade is meant for adults hosting and attending events, and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child's photo or name was added and shouldn't be, contact us and we'll remove it.
Wherever you live, we honor the spirit of modern privacy law: you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, correct it, or have it deleted. Email adriancuriel22@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and note it on this page; material changes affecting photos or privacy defaults will be announced to account holders by email. Questions, requests, or worries: adriancuriel22@gmail.com. Fox Parade · Charleston, SC.
